Minecraft's Newest Cape!!

To celebrate the release of Minecraft Dungeons II, Mojang has added yet another cape to the collection! In contrast with the Twisted and Hero capes, this one can be obtained for free – here’s how.
Players can currently receive their cape by participating in an online promotion, starting from September 29th, running through to October 15th. By watching either a Twitch Partner or Affiliate livestream in the Minecraft Dungeons II category for 15 minutes or watching any Game Rewards-enabled Minecraft Dungeons II stream on TikTok for 3 minutes, you can obtain your very own Aurora cape.
The cape itself makes a direct reference to the Sift dimension from Minecraft Dungeons II (which is also coming to Minecraft Java and Bedrock Editions in 2027), with its blue-pink-orange gradient closely resembles the new dimension.
Unfortunately, the Aurora cape has been inaccessible to a large audience for a couple of reasons. For players living in countries such as China, Hong Kong, Iran, India and Afghanistan, obtaining a code can be directly impossible, since their governments have banned these platforms.
During the first day of the promotion, viewers were incorrectly awarded Aurora capes by watching streams in the Minecraft category, as opposed to the Minecraft Dungeons II category. This issue was shortly rectified.
For their past few cape drops, Twitch has also consistently been unreliable. Users have already encountered numerous issues when it comes to actually unlocking the code, who report receiving a message that their “Redemption code is unavailable. Please try again later.”
If you are unable to obtain a code for yourself – whether it is because you’re unable to participate in the promotions or missed the deadline – we’re happy to announce that they are now available for purchase on our store.
